Max Scherzer

Before twice leading the American League in victories and signing the richest deal for a pitcher in Major League history, Max Scherzer was a Prospect. The 11th overall selection of the 2006 draft out of the University of Missouri-Columbia, Max made his Major League debut with the Diamondbacks at 23 years of age. A three-time All-Star, he also has four consecutive seasons of 230 or more strikeouts. In 2015, while pitching with the Nationals, Max threw two no-hitters.
