The local kid from Florissant, MO and Hazelwood West High School, Kyle debuted for his hometown St. Louis Cardinals when he was 23 years old. Kyle pitched in parts of six Major League seasons, highlighted by a 2.27 ERA in 2010 while working primarily out of the Cardinals bullpen. He also appeared in at least 65 games in 2008, 2009 and 2010, proving to be a workhorse for the perennial contenders.
